2023: Art / Technology / Climate Change

In cooperation with Acting for Climate (Norway) and Menddie Oy (Finland) organised an event on 11 August 2023 to further develop a framework for values-based cross-sectoral cooperation. We brought together art organisations and start-ups in Helsinki that address climate change in their work for two sessions of knowledge-sharing and networking walk in nature.

Our research led to shifting the focus to the most pertinent challenges we face as humankind. As a way to learn we organised a networking event in cooperation with Creative Europe Desks. 31 representatives of arts and culture organisations of various sizes and scopes from 8 countries joined in to learn more about EU cooperation and how to search for partners.

Professional matchmaking in the arts

The online platform was a space where sculptors could meet dancers, artists could meet producers, and students could meet established professionals. And vice versa. We launched Art Ally 1.0 in November 2021 and it served the community until 5 February 2023. Over this time we welcomed almost 200 users, created around 40 random matches, and helped to promote 15 opportunities for cooperation.
